Seven relief languages turn a door into an architectural surface: a modular wood collection.
The document brings together Marrakech, Kyoto, Ubud, Milano, Giza, Santorini and Istanbul. Each sheet links inspiration, module, assembly, depth and complete door. Repetition and carving connect the small component with a continuous surface.
The portfolio identifies 20 × 40 × 2 cm modules and 80 × 240 cm doors, with proposed relief depths of 10–12 mm. These are document specifications; fabrication, performance and installation require technical validation. It is presented as a product study, without asserting installation or completed construction.

Seven doors, seven reliefs
The catalogue cover lines up the seven doors — Marrakech, Kyoto, Ubud, Milano, Giza, Santorini and Istanbul — in a single wood tone. Some versions differ from each family’s own sheet.
The module
Front and perspective views of an Ubud module. The catalogue sizes it at 20 × 40 × 2 cm; mirrored and rotated, it repeats until it covers the whole door leaf.
Marrakech · carved lattice
A network of stars and polygons inspired by zellige and mashrabiya covers the 80 × 240 cm leaf. The catalogue proposes solid wood with a matt natural oil and carving up to 10 mm deep.
Kyoto · kumiko grid
A star grid inspired by kumiko and shoji is arranged in three vertical bands. The catalogue specifies whitened oak with a light stain and sand-tone inlay, and relief up to 10 mm.
Ubud · flowing relief
Contour curves inspired by Bali’s rice terraces run across the leaf from edge to edge. The catalogue proposes teak or merbau with a satin natural oil and relief up to 12 mm.
Milano · fluting and veins
Vertical walnut fluting is crossed by pale zigzag veins that recall marble. The catalogue specifies a matt natural oil and carving up to 12 mm deep.
Giza · stacked pyramids
Stepped triangles, facets and bands of engraved signs stack in five tiers on ash. The catalogue specifies a matt natural oil and a maximum depth of 12 mm.
Santorini · meander
The meander repeats in four columns on whitened oak with a white wash. From afar the leaf reads calmly; up close its changes of level appear, up to 10 mm according to the catalogue.
Istanbul · girih
Interlaced stars and polygons, inspired by girih geometry and Iznik tiles, on an espresso stain with sand-tone edges. Carving up to 10 mm according to the catalogue.
Marrakech · raking light
Close view from the light and shadow study: the lattice’s different levels cast shadows that shift with the light, the moiré effect the catalogue describes.
Ubud · grain in the relief
In the depth study, the carved curves follow the wood grain and form soft steps; the catalogue gives a range of 2 to 12 mm.
Giza · graded depth
Close-up of the graded carving: the pyramids combine smooth faces, horizontal grooves and bands of signs in low relief. Stated range: 2 to 12 mm.
